Key Account Manager – Oncology (UK Field-Based)
Location: Nationwide (Field-based, with some travel)

Are you an experienced pharmaceutical professional looking to make a real impact in Oncology? We’re seeking a motivated Key Account Manager to join our UK team, driving growth and building strong partnerships across the healthcare landscape.
This position plays a pivotal role in achieving territory objectives through effective engagement with Oncologists, Specialist Nurses, Pharmacists, and Key NHS Managers who influence the use of oncology medicines and services.
Responsibilities
- Achieve territory sales objectives through ethical and persuasive account management.
- Deliver clear, impactful product and service messages in line with company strategy.
- Plan, execute, and record high-quality customer interactions at the required frequency.
- Develop and implement business plans aligned with national objectives and sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Identify new customer groups and influencers to expand access and reach.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of NHS structures, funding pathways, and market access processes.
- Ensure full compliance with ABPI regulations and internal procedures, including timely reporting.
- Represent the company professionally at meetings and conferences (UK & international travel required).
- Support company strategy through mentoring and campaign leadership when required.
- Proven experience in Key Account Management, ideally within Oncology or Dermatology.
- ABPI certification (mandatory).
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels.
- Deep understanding of NHS dynamics and market access processes.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- Confident working autonomously while contributing to national strategy and cross-functional projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- ABPI certification (mandatory).
- Experience in Key Account Management, ideally in Oncology or Dermatology.
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills; ability to influence across multiple levels.
