Do you want to make a real difference in respiratory medicine? We’re looking for autonomous medical sales professionals looking to join a global pharmaceutical company, with a patient centric approach and a focus on innovation.

Our client is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team covering the Sussex and Surrey area to act as the single point of contact for customers. You’ll work in partnership to develop and deliver solutions that address local healthcare needs while driving commercial growth. This role is responsible for increasing company revenues through the effective promotion of a respiratory portfolio, aligned to national marketing strategy and locally developed customer plans. You will engage and influence key decision-makers across Primary and Secondary Care, including Medicine Management Leads, Respiratory Leads, Finance Directors, KOLs and other relevant decision makers.

Ideal Requirements for the Key Account Manager
  • ABPI qualified, with a strong commitment to ethical and compliant promotion.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering consistent, high-quality sales performance against ambitious targets.
  • In-depth understanding of the NHS landscape, including structures, priorities, and decision-making processes across both Primary and Secondary Care.
  • Advanced product and disease knowledge, with the credibility and confidence to communicate complex clinical and technical information to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and strategically minded, with proven expertise in Key Account Management and territory planning to maximise commercial impact.
Role Responsibilities for the Key Account Manager
  • Develop and execute strategic customer and account plans to deliver sustainable business growth and long-term value.
  • Consistently achieve agreed KPIs, including sales targets, customer satisfaction measures, and successful project delivery.
  • Lead the development and management of comprehensive account plans across Secondary Care, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Sub-ICB clusters, Primary Care Networks (PCNs), and Practice Clusters.
  • Operate to the highest standards of compliance, adhering fully to the ABPI Code of Practice and all internal policies, procedures, and company values.
