Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Junior User Researcher to join its Digital Excellence community in the UK. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers and Developers to plan and conduct user research that informs the design of digital services and products.

You will employ both qualitative and quantitative methods, conduct inclusive research, and communicate insights to stakeholders. The role supports learning, career growth, and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Keen interest in user research and user-centered design, with self-led learning.
• Hands-on experience with user research methods and knowing when to apply them.
• Experience planning and conducting qualitative studies (interviews, observations, diary studies, usability tests).
• Familiar with quantitative methods (surveys) to identify insights and support findings.
• Able to analyse and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data to tell a story.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct high-impact research with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers.
• Manage and support research activities, selecting suitable methodologies per project.
• Research inclusively with diverse user groups including hard-to-reach communities.
• Consider end-to-end user journey amid business, policy, and technical constraints.
• Communicate findings to teams and stakeholders in an actionable way.
• Develop skills with regular coaching and training to grow as a consultant.
