Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Junior User Researcher to join our Digital Excellence community. You will plan and conduct user research, work with product teams, and help deliver digital services and products grounded in user insights.

You will collaborate with designers, product managers and developers, applying a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, while growing your research expertise and contributing to business development and practice initiatives.

Qualifications

Interest in user research and user-centred design, with ongoing self‑led learning.
Hands-on experience with user research and understanding of a range of methods.
Experience planning and conducting qualitative studies (interviews, observations, diary studies, usability tests).
Familiarity with quantitative methods (surveys) to identify insights.
Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and tell a story to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct high-impact research with Product Managers, Designers, developers and other Researchers.
Manage and support research activities, selecting methods based on project needs.
Research inclusively with diverse user groups, including hard-to-reach populations.
Consider end-to-end journey and external constraints on user experience.
Communicate findings clearly to project teams and stakeholders to inform decisions.
Develop research skills with regular guidance and training.
