Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a User Researcher (SC Eligible) to join the Digital Factory community. You will lead user research across product lifecycles, plan qualitative studies including interviews and usability tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed user-centered design practices.

The role requires strong storytelling, stakeholder management, and experience in agile environments, with hybrid UK-based work and potential travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading user research across product lifecycle (discovery to delivery).
• Experience planning and running qualitative studies (interviews, observations, diary studies, usability tests).
• Experience with quantitative surveys to identify actionable insights.
• Knowledge of Government Digital Service (GDS) design principles and service standards.
• Strong storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary, agile teams influencing product design through insights.
• Familiarity with using prototypes to test hypotheses and validate journeys.
• Understanding of in-person and remote research tools.

Responsibilities
