Brunello Lounge in Weston-super-Mare is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring each shift runs smoothly and every dish meets our high standards. The role offers an opportunity to grow into a senior kitchen position while working with fresh ingredients and a dedicated team.

You’ll follow allergen procedures and help maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety. A proactive team player with strong knife skills and pace is ideal for this busy, rewarding kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure shifts run smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high standards.
• Own your section and manage prep, par, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow allergen processes and ensure kitchen compliance and safety.
• Help others develop skills and confidence within the team.
• Ensure dishes leaving the pass meet specs and quality.
