Job summary

Loungers is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Pedro Lounge, a local café bar. You’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, help the team deliver great shifts, and ensure every dish meets our standards. If you love real cooking and want to grow into a senior kitchen role, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills.
• Ability to manage prep, par, and hygiene to spec.
• Good allergen practices and food safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts.
• Keep prep on track and ensure each dish goes out to spec.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high standards.
• Work with the wider team to develop skills and confidence.
• Know dish specs inside out and ensure plate presentation.
