Qualifications

  • Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Chef looking to advance.
  • Ingredients knowledge and chef skills (food prep, hot and cold).
  • Strong food safety knowledge regarding allergens.

Responsibilities

  • Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily preparations.
  • Ensure each dish is made to specification and quality.
  • Work at pace with limited supervision.

Job description

You'll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver 14 great shifts, ensuring daily prep and that each dish is made to specification.

What you'll bring:

  • You are probably an existing Junior Sous Chef or an experienced Chef looking to take the next step in your career.
  • You will ideally have experience working with fresh ingredients and demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep, hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices)
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Self-motivated to work at pace with limited supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices regarding allergens, kitchen essentials, and food safety.
