Job Description:

TheJunior Sous Chefwill workalongsidethe line chefs,to ensure every dish ispreparedto our high standards,This is ahands-on role –perfect for someone who loves being actively involved in the kitchen,cooking on section,leading by example, and working with a passionate team to create memorable culinary experiences for our guests.

The Junior Sous Chef will also work alongside the Head Chef and Sous chefsparticipatinginmanyaspectsof the kitchenoperationsto further develop their career, these may include butarenotlimitedto the followingresponsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring correct prep levelsbyour dedicated prep team.
  • Ensuringdeliveriesand stock areput awaycorrectlyby theGoodsReceiver.
  • Temperature records.
  • Junior staffwellbeing.
  • Checking cleaning rotasarecompleted.
  • Monitoring andtrainingstaff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previousexperience asa SeniorChef dePartieor similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for learning and growth.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety practices, and basic culinary techniques.
