Job description

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Scientific Advisor (JSA) to join our Cardio‑Renal‑Metabolic (CRM) Medical Affairs Team for the UK & Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to support the execution of our Integrated Customer Plan (ICP), and contribute to shaping the future of CRM care through high‑quality medical and scientific engagement.

As part of a high‑performing and forward‑thinking team, you will play a key role in supporting medical strategy execution, developing scientific materials, and contributing to cross‑functional activities that bring meaningful innovations to patients.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Medical & Scientific Support
  • Support the delivery of medical activities, such as advisory boards, medical education meetings, and data generation projects.
  • Involved in providing medical input into brand strategy, campaign development.
Material & Data Review
  • Support the creation, development and review of scientific content including slide decks, training materials.
  • Review promotional and non promotional materials to verify scientific accuracy and ensure compliance with relevant codes of practice.
  • Evaluate clinical and scientific data to ensure healthcare professionals receive balanced, evidence based information that enables optimal patient care.
Clinical Operations Collaboration
  • If needed, work closely with the Clinical Operations Team on feasibility assessments for new trials.
Medical Insights & Knowledge Sharing
  • Provide proactive insights including new scientific developments, competitor data, and internal clinical trial updates.
  • Assist with therapy area and clinical trial training for sales and marketing teams.
  • Contribute new ideas, share knowledge, and collaborate closely across Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations.
Requirements
Education
  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
