Job summary

Tricel in Leeds is seeking a Junior Sales Administrator to support the Sales team with customer enquiries, order processing, quotations, and general administration. The role offers hands-on training in a growing international business, with opportunities to develop commercial and administrative skills.

The successful candidate will be organised, detail-oriented and eager to learn, contributing to high levels of service and progression within the company.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems is beneficial.
  • Proactive problem-solving and process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing customer orders in a timely fashion, in line with Company procedures.
  • To produce courier labels for sales orders to be dispatched.
  • Administering Purchase Orders through Sage.
  • Responsible for dealing with customer enquiries both on the phone & in person.
  • Responsible for monitoring the office email & responding to customers in a timely manner.
  • Produce quotations as requested by customers directly or the Sales team.
  • Liaison with customers on a regular basis to ensure deliveries are booked in.
  • Ensure all courier queries are dealt with in order to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure all paperwork is filed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all internet and eBay orders are printed and processed and then marking these as dispatched.
  • Process the decant forms on to the system as and when they arise.
  • Scan & PDF all orders/manifests as instructed by your Manager.
  • Responsible for following Company policies & procedures at all times & make recommendations for improvements.
  • Any other duties as assigned by your line manager to meet the needs of the business.

We are seeking a Junior Sales Administrator to join our team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join a growing international business, where you will receive hands‑on training and support while developing valuable commercial and administrative skills. Working closely with the Sales team, you will assist with customer enquiries, order processing, quotations, and general administration, helping to ensure a high level of service is delivered to our customers. Key Skills & Experience
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications;
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, customer service, retail, office support or similar role would be advantageous but is not essential;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Experience using CRM systems or business software would be beneficial but not essential;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
