Job summary

D R Newitt is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to join an on-site team in Worcestershire. You will serve as the primary contact for day-to-day IT issues, handling 1st and 2nd line support and assisting with device setup for new starters.

Working closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will contribute to software updates, security tasks, and accurate IT asset records while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with onboarding new starters and managing user accounts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line user support across the company.
• Set up laptops, PCs, mobile devices, and IT equipment for new starters.
• Create user accounts, manage access, and handle password resets.
• Assist with software updates, IT security tasks, and maintain IT asset records.
• Support the IT Infrastructure Manager with maintenance, documentation, and key projects.
