Job description

Were looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Design Assistant to support our Head of Design/ Marketing & Senior Creative Designer on creating KODAK product packaging, printed and digital assets. This is a fast-paced and ever-changing role, so were seeking a highly flexible and adaptable candidate who thrives in a team environment and is eager to get involved in all aspects of the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Art working packaging for the Kodak Brand alongside our Senior Creative Designer in response to production demand keeping within the stringent Kodak Branding guidelines.
• Creating Product thumbnails and POS imagery for the sales team, lifestyle imagery, creating event collateral and branded giveaways ensuring consistency across the range.
• Understand the departments quality management and file management systems and employ a methodical approach to archive management and file organisation.
• Ensuring that all executions are produced in a sales/ customer-focused manner with regard to readability, usability, functionality and performance.

Knowledge And Skills Required

• Previous experience in anArtworkerrole within a studio environment is advantageous
• An understanding of graphic design fundamentals and artworking
• Experience working with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and MS Office
• Good Eye for detail, colour, composition, working with established branding guidelines and knowledge of the printing process
• An ability to react to a fast-changing environment, where fast turnaround oncreativeelements and feedback is often required.
• Proven time keeping and efficiency who is meticulous with attention to detail and accuracy
• Great people skills and able to work collaboratively within a team
• Ability to problem solve and followcreativedirection
• Educated to degree level or equivalent (in acreativediscipline) is advantageous
• Portfolio required for presentation at interview, a design test may be required depending on the candidate at second interview

Hours

• Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5pm
• Fridays 8.30am to 4.30pm working from home

Holidays

• 20 days per year plus 3 days for Christmas and 1 for birthday

Salary & Benefits

• £26000 - £28,000 p.a (depending on experience)
