Travail Employment Group is recruiting a Junior Systems Developer near Lewes. The role involves supporting development, maintenance and improvement of websites, internal CRM systems and business applications used by customers and teams.

You will work closely with the Director to gain exposure to software development, databases and IT infrastructure while training is actively encouraged. The successful candidate will have an interest in software development, with exposure to HTML and C#, SQL

• Exposure to HTML, C#, SQL databases or web development technologies would be highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity and a willingness to learn are important.
• Comfortable communicating with colleagues, understanding user requirements and working in a small team.

Responsibilities

Junior Systems Developer

£28,000 - £35,000, Near Lewes, Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, Permanent, 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension, Parking, Christmas Bonus

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Systems Developer to join a growing technology-led business operating across multiple specialist brands. Working closely with the Director, the Junior Systems Developer will support the development, maintenance and improvement of websites, internal CRM systems and business applications used by customers, professionals and internal teams. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to software development, database management, web technologies and IT infrastructure within a supportive environment where training and development are actively encouraged.

• Supporting the maintenance and development of websites and web applications
• Assisting with improvements to internal CRM systems
• Investigating and resolving software and website issues
• Supporting the maintenance of databases and APIs

Requirements

The successful Junior Systems Developer will have a genuine interest in software development and technology, whether gained through education, self-study, personal projects or commercial experience. Exposure to HTML, C#, SQL databases or web development technologies would be highly desirable but not essential. Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity and a willingness to learn are more important than possessing a complete technical skillset. You will be comfortable communicating with colleagues, understanding user requirements and working within a small collaborative team. This role could suit someone who has worked as a Junior Developer, IT Support Developer or Software Support Analyst.
