A leading media organization in the UK seeks a journalist to create high-quality multimedia content. Responsibilities include writing engaging news stories and generating original ideas. Candidates should have substantial experience as a text-based journalist and strong communication skills. This is an opportunity to work as part of a friendly team committed to finding and telling the stories of people in our region on the BBC News website. As well as reacting to on‑the‑day news, you will also get the opportunity to develop your own ideas and learn skills which would enable you to showcase your storytelling on radio and TV as well as the UK's biggest and most trusted news site., As a BBC Yorkshire news journalist you will work with colleagues to create high‑quality multimedia content about the area for local as well as national audiences. You will be expected to not only work on big breaking news stories and courts/inquests but also come up with your own original ideas and shape material for use online.
