A local governmental authority in Sandwell is seeking a dedicated handyperson for a part-time role (18.5 hours/week). Responsibilities include general maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring the security of the building. The successful candidate will require a driver's licence and will participate in necessary training. Salary ranges from £12,395 to £12,996 annually, with work including alternate weekends and bank holidays.
You will be required to undertake general handyperson/caretaker duties within the establishment to maintain the fabric and fittings, simple maintenance and repair work of the building. Your role will include:

Working hours will include working alternate weekends and bank holidays on a rota pattern. The post available is for 18.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check.
Sandwell MBC and South West Birmingham NHS Trust are working in partnership to provide short term reablement in a newly built integrated Social Care and Health Centre, which opened in December 2022. The centre is an 80 bedded reablement centre based on Harvest Road, Rowley Regis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a purpose-built service supporting individuals to regain their skills and confidence so that they can return home.
