Job description

Job Title: Japanese speaking Product Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Location: Hampshire
Working hours: 35 hours per week
Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  1. Create business plans to support the development of new product lines.
  2. Create an “opportunities roadmaps” indicating key customers and potential sales.
  3. Provide technical support to the sales organization and directly to customers on occasion.
  4. Prepare high-quality professional presentations.
  5. Serve as a key interface between the European sales organization and the Japanese marketing and engineering departments.
  6. Prepare supporting documentation, including report writing and whitepapers.
  7. Assist project management with communication between Headquarters and other affiliates.
  8. Support exhibitions, including creating materials and attending events.
  9. Contribute input to the Marketing and Communications team for external platforms and websites.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in the connectors industry.
  2. Proficiency in Japanese and English, both verbal and written.
  3. Strong engineering and technical background.
  4. Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  5. Proactive approach and effective time management skills.
