Job summary
Dms Reprographics Ltd. is seeking an IT support trainee engineer to join the Head Office team in Bolton. You will work across a small IT squad, handling incident triage, hardware and software issues and user support.
Full training will be provided, and you will gain hands‑on experience with Windows systems, remote access tools and help desk software while maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Experience in IT support or similar role.
- Hands-on with Windows operating systems.
- Familiar with remote desktop tools and help desk software.
- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
- Explain solutions to customers via phone, email or chat until resolved.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
- Log issues accurately and maintain updated records.
- Prepare timely reports and document technical knowledge.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients.
