Job summary

IT Support Engineer in Slough is sought to join a growing IT support team. You will provide 1st line support across Windows, Office, hardware and printers, and manage incidents via phone, email, chat and ticketing systems.

Hybrid role with three days on site per week, you will help prioritise tickets, work to SLAs and KPIs, and escalate complex issues. The role offers good benefits and a clear path to training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT Service Desk / 1st Line Support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, Windows and Office apps.
• Experience with Active Directory and ITSM / ticketing systems.
• Comfortable working towards SLA and KPI targets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, proactive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1st line support across Windows, Microsoft Office, hardware, printers and business applications.
• Responding to IT incidents and requests via phone, email, chat and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshooting issues and taking ownership through to resolution.
• Managing and prioritising tickets in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Escalating more complex issues to 2nd and 3rd line teams.
• Keeping users updated and delivering excellent customer service.
