Job summary

Placr Recruitment is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver 1st and 2nd line support for business customers, primarily from an office in North East Hampshire with some site visits. You will diagnose issues across Windows, hardware, software and connectivity, and assist with Microsoft 365 apps and user access.

You’ll work with an experienced MSP team, grow your technical skills, and contribute to onboarding, project work and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT support, helpdesk or service desk role.
• A practical approach to troubleshooting and a genuine interest in technology.
• Clear communication, patience and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1st and 2nd line support by phone, through the service desk and occasionally at customer sites.
• Troubleshooting Windows, hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Supporting Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Helping with user accounts, permissions, passwords and multi-factor authentication.
• Keeping tickets updated and customers informed.
• Getting involved in customer onboarding, device setup and technical projects.
