Job summary

Pulse IT Recruitment Ltd in Southampton is looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer (1st/2nd Line) to join our client-facing service desk. You will own escalations, assist with projects and help maintain modern client environments across industries.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in MSP IT support, strong M365 skills, and a full UK driving licence with occasional local travel. The role offers a competitive salary (£18,000–£30,000) and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' IT Support/Helpdesk experience within an MSP environment.
• Proven expertise in M365 ecosystem.
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel occasionally to client sites locally to Southampton.

Responsibilities

• Work actively on the helpdesk and, when needed, on client site.
• Problem solve all IT hardware and software issues for external clients.
• Experience in Microsoft 365 / M365 and Windows 11, iOS & Android support.
• Configure and support routers, firewalls, switches, and access points.
• Adhere to SLAs, prioritise effectively, and communicate clearly with end-users and stakeholders.
