Job summary

PKF Francis Clark is seeking a capable IT support specialist to provide first-line desktop support across nine offices in the South West. The role is primarily based in the Truro office with one day from home and requires regular travel between offices, a full UK driving licence, and car access.

The team prioritises responsive, customer-focused service and strong IT system maintenance. You will contribute to asset tracking, licensing, purchasing, and maintaining records while supporting

Qualifications

• Friendly, confident, and approachable, with a strong customer‑focused mindset.
• Clear and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Well organised, with a good eye for detail when working with systems and data.
• Broad interest in IT with solid troubleshooting skills.
• An understanding of the importance of security and confidentiality in a professional services environment.
• Experience or interest in areas such as Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Microsoft Teams, Citrix, document management systems and iOS mobile device support would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Providing first‑line IT desktop support to colleagues, both remotely and face to face.
• Assisting with user administration, including setting up and maintaining accounts.
• Building, configuring and maintaining end‑user hardware.
• Carrying out general IT administration, including asset tracking, licensing, purchasing and maintaining records.
