Job summary

Inspired ICT Solutions Ltd in Berkshire is seeking an IT Support Team Leader to manage the busy helpdesk and lead a small IT support team. You will oversee ticket flow, triage requests and ensure timely, clear communication with schools.

The role covers remote support, onsite visits and hands-on technical assistance across Windows devices, Microsoft 365, networking and AV systems, with a friendly, professional approach and DBS checks expected.

Qualifications

Experience leading, supervising or mentoring an IT support team.
Strong experience managing support tickets, triaging new requests, prioritising workloads and ensuring timely customer updates.
Hands-on experience across Windows devices, Microsoft 365, networking and school IT environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A calm, organised and proactive approach.
A full driving licence and access to a car, as onsite visits will be required.
Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

Set the standard for ticket management, customer communication and day-to-day support delivery.
Lead by example, professionalism, clear communication and proactive ticket management.
Take ownership of ad hoc IT projects from initiation to completion.
Report to the Managing Director and work with the Operations Manager to triage and respond to tickets.
