Based in our London office, this permanent, full-time IT Support Specialist role focuses on end-user support, networking, and incident management to ensure services meet agreed SLAs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years providing 1st/2nd line support to a diverse user base.
• In-depth knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, SharePoint (MOSS).
• Solid ability to configure, install and repair computer hardware.
• Experience supporting remote users and offices.
• Familiarity with Dell/Lenovo hardware and IP phone systems.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, WAN.
• Experience with Citrix/Terminal Server and VMware is a plus.
• Customer-focused, proactive, flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for desktop and laptop hardware/software.
• Research, analyse, diagnose problems with client systems and networks.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot software/hardware and peripherals.
• Manage email, printers, backups, and server services where applicable.
• Support local network and WAN/VPN connectivity; liaise with global IT teams.
• Enforce incident management and improve service delivery through trend analysis.
• Develop and enforce incident escalation policies and procedures.
