Job summary

Anson McCade Pty, on behalf of a prominent global investment bank, is hiring an IT Support Technician for its European IT team in London, reporting to the Endpoint Support Manager.

You will be the first point of contact for users, maintaining desktops, laptops, phones and AV, with real-time incident handling and close collaboration with vendors. The role requires strong Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra and networking basics.

Qualifications

• Solid helpdesk/service desk experience.
• Strong Windows 10 & Microsoft 365 / Office support.
• Active Directory/Entra user administration including security groups and OUs.
• Good grasp of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS basics.
• Hardware troubleshooting across PCs, laptops, printers.
• Knowledge of Cisco/IPC telephony and enterprise mobile device management.
• Familiarity with endpoint security (antivirus, malware, DLP).
• Customer-first attitude and methodical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for users on a fast-paced trading floor.
• Log tickets, resolve incidents and service requests quickly and accurately.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, desk phones and mobile devices.
• Administer Windows and Apple environments and supported software.
• Support AV/meeting rooms (Zoom Rooms, MS Teams) for events.
• Assist with market data apps like Bloomberg, Fidessa and Refinitiv.
• Manage Active Directory/Entra accounts and groups; collaborate with vendors.
• Maintain documentation and monitor performance for improvements.
