Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in London is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join a busy IT team in a professional services environment. You will provide hands-on desktop support and ensure an excellent user experience across Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.

You will manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra, assist with AV/meeting room setups, handle basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and collaborate with vendors to keep IT services reliable in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience supporting Active Directory and Microsoft Entra environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• ITIL knowledge or experience.
• AV/meeting room support.
• Exposure to Bloomberg, Refinitiv or similar market data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1st and 2nd line desktop support to end users.
• Installing, configuring and maintaining PCs, laptops, mobile devices, telephones and printers.
• Managing user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and network connectivity issues.
• Supporting Microsoft 365 technologies including Teams, OneDrive and Office applications.
• Assisting with meeting room and AV technology, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms.
• Managing support tickets, resolving incidents and responding to service requests.
• Participating in desktop refreshes, hardware deployments and office moves.
• Working closely with third‑party vendors and internal teams to ensure reliable IT services.
