Job summary

Intec Select Limited is recruiting for a permanent Desktop Engineer based in London. You’ll be part of a small, hands-on team owning the endpoint estate in your region and handling first-line tickets with direct access to senior leadership.

The role focuses on Intune, M365, Windows 11, and Azure Virtual Desktop, with opportunities to work across Azure, Okta, Cato, Meraki, CrowdStrike, Rubrik and AppLocker, in a globally distributed environment.

Job description

I’m recruiting for a global asset manager on a permanent Desktop Engineer role in London.

This is a small, hands‑on team that runs the whole stack. No tiers or hand‑off queues, everyone takes first‑line tickets and owns real infrastructure. You’d be one of two desktop/junior infrastructure engineers globally and the main technical owner of the endpoint estate in your region.

The stack:

Azure, Okta, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Cato SASE, Meraki, CrowdStrike, Rubrik, M365

What you’ll do:

• 1st and 2nd line support for users across Europe, the US and APAC, including PMs, traders and senior execs
• Own Intune, AppLocker, patching and AVD in your region
• Take on Azure, Okta, Cato, Meraki and Rubrik work alongside senior engineers
• Triage CrowdStrike detections and run joiner/mover/leaver processes end to end
• Automate with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
• Some travel to regional offices for rack builds, cabling and AV

What you’ll bring:

• 3-5 years in IT support, desktop engineering or sysadmin
• Hands‑on Intune, M365 and Windows 11 in a managed corporate environment
• Azure fundamentals and solid networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN)
• Several of: Okta, AVD, CrowdStrike, Cato, Meraki, Rubrik, AppLocker
• PowerShell you can write and troubleshoot, not just run
• Financial services or buy-side experience strongly preferred
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
