Job summary

AWD Recruitment is seeking an IT Support Engineer / Service Desk Analyst to join a friendly, customer-focused team delivering managed services across the UK. You will tackle day-to-day issues, support Windows, M365 and AD, and manage tickets to SLA targets.

The role offers hybrid work (3 days in Taunton, 2 from home), a salary of £24,000–£32,000 depending on experience, and a benefits package including 25 days holiday, training and wellbeing support, and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows Desktop, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Familiar with ticketing systems and SLAs.
• Clear communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routers, firewalls).
• Proactive in improving processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle IT support queries via phone and ticket system within SLAs.
• Provide first-line remote support and escalate when needed.
• Manage installations and user account changes.
• Perform daily/weekly health, security and backup checks.
• Contribute to knowledge base and customer guidance.
• Support projects across client environments.
• Provide basic training and liaison with third-party vendors.
• Attend client sites when required.
