Job summary

• Provide day-to-day support for clients and users of computer networks, including infrastructure, file servers, desktops and software.
• Analyse, diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests to minimize user disruption.
• Manage calls and workload via the Service Desk with tracked progress and service levels.
• Offer guidance on the appropriate use of IT to support operational tasks.
• Support colleagues and projects, contributing to evaluation, implementation and review.
• Liaise with groups to resolve technical issues and problems.
• Assist with local and wide area network management including wired and wireless solutions.
• Contribute to standards in information management and technology security.
