Job summary

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver proactive and responsive desktop and user support across the Trust. You will work with the Contact Centre and field-based teams to resolve incidents and service requests, using remote tools and AD administration.

Responsibilities include logging incidents in the ITSM system, maintaining asset records, performing hardware builds, and ensuring security and information governance.

Qualifications

• Proactive and responsive IT support across the Trust
• Coordinate with support teams for incident and service request resolution
• Provide comprehensive IT support for Trust devices and systems

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical support within Desktop Delivery
• Log and manage complex user support requests in ITSM
• Install, configure and maintain desktop hardware/software
• Maintain IT asset database and lifecycle
• Perform hardware builds, repairs and decommissioning
• Log antivirus updates and monitor security systems
• Ensure compliance with information governance policies
• Support Contact Centre and Desktop Support teams
• Offer knowledge sharing within the team and with users
