Job summary

Back To Work in Northampton is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Apprentice to join a Managed Service Provider team. This role offers hands-on experience and a recognised qualification while starting your career in IT.

You will work with experienced engineers, diagnose issues, support Microsoft 365 environments, and help maintain IT systems across multiple environments. The position develops strong customer service and problem-solving skills in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to customers via phone, email and remote support tools.
• Log, categorise and prioritise support tickets using the service desk system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of PCs, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments, including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
• Help maintain user accounts within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Escalate more complex incidents to senior engineers when required.
• Assist with desktop deployments and hardware replacements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, requests and resolutions.
• Learn and follow IT security best practices and company procedures.
