Job summary

Answer Digital in Leeds is offering an IT Support Analyst Apprenticeship. You’ll work directly with the IT Manager across Leeds and remote locations, handling IT support, device management, user accounts, and security tasks from day one.

You'll gain a Microsoft IT Support Technician qualification and a company culture that prioritises learning and hands-on responsibility. The role is hands-on from day one, with progression as you grow in confidence.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths
• Must not already hold a qualification at the same or higher level in a related subject
• Must be eligible for apprenticeship funding (UK resident for 3+ years prior to start date)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests across the business with strong customer service
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for a medium-size company
• Log, track, and resolve support tickets within agreed response times
• Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager with documented steps taken
• Support remote workers with connectivity, device, and application issues
• Set up, configure, and image laptops and mobile devices for new starters and leavers
• Install and update software, drivers, and operating systems
• Maintain hardware and plan for repairs or upgrades
• Assist with system upgrades and patch management
• Create and manage user accounts across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Google Suite
• Onboard/offboard users, manage licenses and access permissions
• Assist with Teams administration and troubleshooting
• Assist with network maintenance and office connectivity
• Help monitor backup systems and document network configurations
• Support IT security tasks and raise security awareness
• Maintain IT asset register and documentation
• Contribute to IT procedures and guidance for the team
