Job summary

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in IT, technology and problem solving.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Willingness to learn, develop and build a career in IT.
• Organised with good attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows workplace tech.
• Ability to follow processes and maintain records.
• Patient, helpful approach supporting users with varying levels of digital confidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to colleagues across the Trust.
• Assist with setup, configuration and maintenance of computers, mobiles, software and printers.
• Support the IT helpdesk by logging, updating and resolving tickets.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot routine technical issues.
• Support user account administration and system access requests.
• Maintain IT records, documentation and asset information.
