Job summary

QA invites aspiring IT professionals to join a structured apprenticeship programme delivering hands-on 2nd line IT support across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and networking. You’ll learn in a supportive environment, handling real client requests and expanding your technical footprint alongside experienced engineers.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, with UK-based training and progression into permanent roles after completion. Competitive salary and ongoing development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• A-Level ICT or equivalent is required.
• International equivalents acceptable with official comparison.
• Demonstrated foundation for entry into IT Apprenticeship programme.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line IT support and act as escalation point.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS and endpoint issues.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra ID, Defender).
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
• Diagnose and resolve network, VPN, Wi‑Fi, connectivity and firewall issues.
• Deploy and support Windows 11 devices, mobiles, printers, and Intune endpoints.
• Handle incidents via Autotask PSA ensuring SLA compliance.
• Assist with IT upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, onboarding projects.
• Create and update IT Glue documentation and knowledge base.
• Deliver excellent service remotely and on-site; mentor junior team members.
