Job summary

Mayflex offers an IT Apprenticeship where you’ll join a collaborative team delivering essential support to colleagues. You'll log incidents, troubleshoot basic IT issues and assist with equipment setup while pursuing apprenticeship learning for career progression.

The role is hybrid with 37.5 hours per week and a range of benefits. A strong foundation in English and Maths is required, with ongoing training and development included.

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
• Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, professional first-line IT support to colleagues, logging incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, Microsoft 365, network, telephony issues and escalate complex matters.
• Set up, configure and issue IT equipment for new starters and existing users.
• Support routine user administration tasks such as password resets and access queries.
• Maintain documentation and follow IT policies while engaging in apprenticeship learning.
