Job summary

KAINUU LTD is seeking an ICT Apprentice to start a hands-on career in IT in Stockport. This Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship offers real-world experience while training with NOWSKILLS LIMITED as the provider.

You will gain skills across support, hardware, software, and network basics. Working Monday to Friday in a full-time apprenticeship, you will learn first-line IT support, system setup, cybersecurity basics, and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Able to provide customer-friendly support and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to colleagues across the business.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, user accounts and access permissions.
• Install and maintain Windows operating systems and business software.
• Assist with network infrastructure, connectivity and troubleshooting.
• Help maintain IT equipment, asset registers and documentation.
• Support cybersecurity best practices, including device security, system upgrades and technology deployments.
