Job summary

YASA is seeking an outgoing IT Service Desk Technician to join our small team at the Yarnton site in Oxfordshire. You will be the first point of contact for users facing IT issues and will help diagnose, resolve, and document problems across hardware, software, and networks.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced electronics environment. The position is full-time and on-site, with occasional travel to other UK sites.

Qualifications

• Entry-level IT role; focus on developing IT skills in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, and Active Directory is expected.
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization knowledge are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line technical support to end-users.
• Take ownership of tickets submitted to the IT Service Desk within SLA.
• Communicate clearly to end-users to resolve issues effectively.
• Install, configure, and upgrade end-user hardware and software.
