Job summary

YASA Limited in the UK is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to be the first point of contact for end-users, resolving hardware, software and network issues within defined SLAs.

Based on our Yarnton, Oxfordshire production facility, this on-site role offers an entry level path to develop IT skills in a fast-paced environment. You will work with cross-functional IT teams, support on-site operations and be part of a journey to broader systems exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows and Active Directory.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Fundamental understanding of virtualization and cybersecurity.
• Able to work independently or with IT teams and adapt to out-of-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line technical support to end-users.
• Take ownership of tickets within SLA and communicate clearly.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot end-user hardware and software.
• Respond to alerts from monitoring systems and escalate when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and assist with service improvements.
