Job summary

Orion Electrotech in the United Kingdom is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to be the first point of contact for users with IT problems, diagnosing and resolving issues and guiding users through solutions within SLA.

The role covers hardware, software and network support, with opportunities to learn, collaborate with IT teams and contribute to cybersecurity best practices in a world-leading OEM environment.

Qualifications

• Some experience with Microsoft Office, Windows and Active Directory.
• Basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Basic understanding of virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and their application.
• Able to work independently or with IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT problems and manage service desk tickets.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Guide users through solutions and ensure timely resolutions.
• Support adherence to service level agreements.
