Job Title: IT Project Manager

Contract: Temp to Perm

Shift Pattern: Full Time

Location: Nottingham

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join us to oversee all aspects of projects in Boots and No7 Beauty Company IT. You'll work closely with the wider Boots IT organisation and 3rd parties to ensure each project meets its required objectives, on time and within budget.

The projects you'll be working on may take many forms, from implementing new systems such as a master data management tool, or coordinating the development of a new website or app that'll be used by our customers. You'll be responsible for scoping out projects, making sure they are delivered effectively and ensuring that the correct project management processes are followed.

About the role

Reporting into the Delivery and Operations Manager, you'll ensure that projects are managed effectively:

  • Leading the planning and implementation of projects
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines
  • Coordinating project resource
  • Resource planning and allocation
  • Quality assurance
  • Management of project risks and issues
  • Managing project administration, including documentation
  • Tracking and maintaining project budgets
  • Managing relationships with 3rd parties
  • Tracking project performance
  • Reporting regularly to senior management
  • Work with the PMO to ensure projects comply with the PMO standards and procedures
What you'll need to have
  • Project management qualification and experience, e.g. APMP, Prince2, MSP
  • Expertise in multiple project delivery methodologies and processes (including waterfall and agile)
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a strong ability to build relationships and influence
  • Strong communication skills
  • You’ll need to be resilient in the face of challenges, and care and support others within the team
It would be great if you also have
  • Experience working within a CPG or retail organisation
  • In‑depth knowledge of specific IT retail environments
  • Experience of project management systems e.g. MS Project, KeyedIn, Wrike
