Job summary
An established technology provider is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their Sheffield team. This full-time permanent role involves onboarding new customers and providing 2nd/3rd line support across various technologies, including Microsoft 365 and Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT support and possess solid troubleshooting skills. A salary range of £30,000–£35,000 is offered along with clear progression opportunities and ongoing training.
Qualifications
Experience in a 2nd / 3rd line IT support role, preferably in an MSP or multi‑client environment.
Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure / Entra ID.
Experience with onboarding, migrations, or project‑based work.
Solid Windows Server and core infrastructure troubleshooting skills.
Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
Confident communication skills with non‑technical users.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
Responsibilities
Act as a key technical contact for onboarding new customers.
Take ownership of implementations from initial setup to full support handover.
Provide 2nd/3rd line support across client environments.
Troubleshoot issues and perform system health checks.
Maintain documentation and identify improvements in customer systems.
