A historic English football club in Huddersfield is seeking an IT Network Support Apprentice to assist in the daily operations of its IT infrastructure. This role includes providing end user support, managing network components, and supporting ongoing development projects. Ideal candidates will have relevant ICT qualifications and a proactive attitude towards learning and development. Apprenticeships provide an excellent opportunity to earn while gaining skills in a dynamic environment.
The IT Network Support Apprentice will support the IT Team with the day-to-day operation of the various components that comprise the active infrastructure (including Aruba switches, routers, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and network management systems). The post holder will also assist in the continuous development and design of the network active infrastructure, maintaining and monitoring the network as part of day-to-day operations, and contributing to the ongoing development of the company's networks. Working as a team member, the post holder will also contribute to investigating and introducing new technologies and networking services to support the company's IT strategy.
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
