Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in the UK is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Administrator to deliver hands-on local IT support and infrastructure management across the UK and Ireland. You will work with the European IT Operations team, supporting offices, field engineers, and external suppliers.

Reporting to IT Operations, you will maintain AD/Entra ID, Windows environments, backups and monitoring, while driving small local projects and ensuring timely incident resolution across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1st/2nd line IT support in a corporate environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Knowledge of Windows server environments and 365 technologies (Teams/Intune).
• Familiarity with Service Desk tools and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to office users and field engineers.
• Manage local IT infrastructure, AD/Entra ID, Windows environments, backups and system monitoring.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and server issues; coordinate with central IT teams as needed.
• Deliver local IT infrastructure projects (hardware refresh, software deployments).
• Maintain system documentation and supplier relationships; support incidents outside normal hours.
