Record seeks a skilled and proactive IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of our technology infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business needs and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our IT infrastructure environment.

Record is a leading specialist currency and asset manager with $100.09 billion (as at 31st March 2025) in Assets Under Management Equivalent. Our services include currency management, sustainable finance, and asset management. Our clients are largely institutions, including pension funds, charities, foundations, endowments, and family offices.

Position Details

Position: IT Infrastructure Manager

Location: London, W2

Role: Full-time (37.5 hours/week). Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the London office.

Line Manager: Head of Technology

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the company's infrastructure strategy in alignment with business goals and technology requirements.
• Manage and monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security across data centres, networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments.
• Provide regular KPIs to the Head of Technology and the Technology Leadership team.
• Lead and coordinate infrastructure support teams in the UK, ensuring seamless collaboration and service delivery.
• Oversee office infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring consistent and reliable IT services.
• Collaborate with IT, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and other teams to ensure infrastructure meets their needs.
• Assist in defining and enforcing infrastructure policies, including access controls, encryption standards, incident response, and security audits.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least five years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in the financial industry or a regulated environment.
• Experience developing and executing infrastructure strategies, driving innovation, and delivering projects.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing on-site and remote teams.
• In-depth knowledge of data centre operations, network architecture, servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Thorough knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in infrastructure security and compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Experience in cloud infrastructure security.
• Certifications such as ITIL, CCSP, CISSP are highly desirable.
