Job summary

GHS (UK) in Swindon is offering an IT Apprenticeship where you will start with structured, process-led tasks such as building and preparing computers and installing software, then progress to first-line support and Microsoft 365 administration.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, gain practical experience across security, customer service and onsite support, and develop technical and professional skills in a friendly, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs (4+), Maths and English at 3+.
• No higher qualification at the same level as this apprenticeship.
• International equivalents may be considered with official comparison.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and quality-check laptops and desktops using documented processes.
• Install Windows updates, approved apps, security software and standard configs.
• Create, amend and disable user accounts and access permissions per requests.
• Prepare equipment for customers including asset recording and labelling.
• Assist with goods in/out, stock control and workshop organisation.
• Keep accurate records with ticket notes and build sheets.
• Carry out password resets and basic administration under supervision.
• Learn to identify information safely and protect customer data.
