Job summary

KBR in Tidworth, UK, is seeking a proactive IT Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. You will deliver high-quality desktop support, configure and deploy IT equipment, and provide timely technical assistance to office-based and remote users.

You will work across Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office and Teams, imaging with MECM or Configuration Manager, support meeting room tech, mobile devices, and asset management while following ITIL processes and security policies.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop or IT support in a corporate environment.
• Good understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience imaging, building, and deploying PCs using MECM, Configuration Manager, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, image, build, and deploy desktop and laptop equipment.
• Deliver, install, and maintain desktop hardware and peripherals for end users.
• Provide first-line desktop support to office-based and remote employees.
• Support employee moves, workstation setup, and equipment reconfiguration.
• Assist with incident management to resolve or escalate issues within SLAs.
• Support corporate mobile devices and authentication solutions.
• Maintain meeting room and AV technology, plus collaboration tools.
• Manage hardware lifecycle, asset deployment, collection, and disposal.
