Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc. in Leeds seeks an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to deliver on-site and field services across offices and events. You will troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Office 365, and imaging projects, coordinating with IT and facilities to keep devices and rooms running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in Field Services / Onsite Support.
• Hands-on PC/Mobile/Hardware support for meetings, rooms, events.
• Strong Windows 10/11 knowledge.
• Experience with Office 365.
• Proven Desktop/Technical Support Engineer experience.
• Remote troubleshooting ability with clear instructions.
• Experience in Windows Imaging Projects.
• Knowledge of basic networking and troubleshooting tools.
• Coordination across teams to resolve issues.
• Organization of workload for effective implementation.
• Sensitivity to cultural diversity in interactions.
• Adaptability to new product support as the organization evolves.
• SCCM and Intune administration knowledge.
• Experience with mass OS deployments.
• Maintaining multiple OS images and hardware models.
• OPK tools familiarity.
• PXE and DHCP knowledge

Responsibilities

• Bulk refreshes (smarthands GLOPAS) and laptop provisioning for new starters.
• Asset management and recycling/loaner custody at client sites.
• Coordinate laptop provisioning and configuration for new starters.
• Assist with driver updates, patches and firmware as needed.
• Coordinate with Facility Management for desks and local announcements.
• Document knowledge articles and support processes.
• VIP support where applicable; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
