Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a full-time Workplace Engineer in the End User Experience (EUE) team based in Salisbury. You will provide first- and second-line desktop support, build and troubleshoot PCs, install printers, and support remote access while complying with ITIL and security practices.

You should have Windows 10/11, M365, SharePoint experience and VMware/Citrix familiarity, plus a valid UK driving license. This role emphasizes customer-focused service delivery within a corporate environment.

Qualifications

Experience with Windows 10/11, Office 2016, M365 and SharePoint.
Second-line desktop support in a complex IT environment.
Understanding of thin-client environments and ITIL frameworks.
Full clean driving licence; eligible for UK clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-line software and hardware support for PCs, laptops, peripherals and printers.
Build, configure and troubleshoot desktop and laptop systems to corporate specifications.
Install, configure and maintain network printers and remote access connections.
Install encryption software and perform challenge/response as required.
Work with other resolver groups to ensure service delivery meets requirements.
Operate within ITIL, JSP and IMM security frameworks.
