A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Delivering first-line IT support to end users across Windows and macOS environments, both remotely and onsite.
  • Using industry-standard tools such as NinjaOne, JAMF, and HALO ITSM to monitor devices, log tickets, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Supporting the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Assisting with Microsoft 365 admin tasks including password resets, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and user provisioning.
  • Participating in patch management, antivirus checks, endpoint security tasks, and IT policy compliance.
  • Working with our SOC provider, hardware vendors, and internal IT and security teams to deliver a high standard of service.
  • Helping maintain IT asset records, write knowledge base articles, and contribute to security documentation.

You'll receive expert support from the internal IT team and structured training from Baltic Apprenticeships throughout your journey.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • A basic understanding of IT systems and a passion for technology.
  • Familiarity with Windows/macOS, networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP), and cybersecurity basics.
  • Good problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • Punctual, reliable, and respectful of data confidentiality.
  • A willingness to learn and take initiative in a busy team environment.
  • A Grade 5/C in English and a Grade 4/C in Maths is required for this role.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £14,722 to £23,809 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Pension Scheme

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship combines practical experience with live virtual learning and one-on-one support from expert trainers. You’ll develop essential technical and professional skills while working toward a nationally recognised qualification.
