Job Title: IT Apprentice

Are you enthusiastic, eager to learn, and passionate about IT? Baily Garner is seeking a motivated IT Apprentice to help drive our digital transformation agenda while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist, support, administer and maintain all end user IT and some network and infrastructure hardware and software triaging, diagnosing and resolving any issues, and involving 3rd parties where necessary
  • Triage, administer and resolve IT Helpdesk queries and issues, closing out within agreed service standards and reporting performance.
  • Configure/build/test hardware (workstations)
  • Monitor system network reporting and escalating issues where appropriate
  • Liaise with IT support organisations and suppliers for equipment and licence ordering and management.
  • Review, manage and maintain Printer fleet and resolve print related issues.
  • Manage and maintain telephone and mobile communication equipment and resolve all related issues.
  • Maintain the IT integration of all other electronic 'devices'.
  • Support the setting up users on domains, printer setups, hardware builds / installations and IP networking
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot the Microsoft suite of products, specifically Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Terminal Services, Microsoft Desktop, Windows Server and Exchange experience, Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7/10 and Servers) MS Office under appropriate supervision. Assist and participate in the IT and telecommunication elements of business driven office moves and re-organisations.
  • Undertake an IT Apprenticeship qualification
